We welcome students from all disciplines and countries; from business to engineering, from informatics to design to social science, the access to the master program is interdisciplinary and international.
Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
Become part of a rich and inspiring entrepreneurial ecosystem in Munich. From start-up fairs or idea competitions to investment events there is a lot going on and we will help you to get connected.
Project-based learning
You will work in small teams on either a digital start-up or a corporate innovation project. The project will provide you with domain knowledge as well as critical thinking, creativity and communication skills.
Coaching
You are not alone on this journey. Professors and start-up experts will support you with a structured process, give feedback and offer alternative perspectives when you get stuck. Yet it is up to you to seek the advice you need.
Frequently asked questions
1. How do I apply for the master program?
You can directly apply here: Master Program Application
Online applications will be open from May 2nd till June 15th, 2021. You will get a notification approximately two weeks after the application deadline if you are invited to an interview. Depending on your location it will take place in virtual or physical format.
2. What are the application requirements?
All applicants - both international and German candidates - must complete the online application including all required documents. You will need to submit:
- a university degree awarded after at least six semesters of study (180 ECTS) with an examination overall result of 2.5 or better
- evidence of good English skills on the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
- project description (2-3 pages)
- record, transcripts, certificates of knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and implementation of projects
If you have a foreign BA degree, please use Uni Assist for prior evaluation of your certificates before applying to the master programme at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Please note that Uni Assist will need 4-6 weeks to issue the preliminary review record (VPD).
3. When will the master program start?
The next master program will start in October 2021 subject to approval by the Bavarian Ministry of Science and Art.
4. How to decide if this is the right program for me?
We highly recommend to all our potential students to previously enroll in our Open Online Course. Not only will you get a boost in knowledge that helps you to fulfill the entry requirements, you will also get the chance to meet the people behind Deep Dive and interact with us.

From Idea to Prototype
Are you a digital innovator?
Within three semesters students will be guided through an entrepreneurial journey: from analyzing needs to finding ideas to continously prototyping and testing with potential users. You can implement a validated solution within your company or create a spin-off.
